Had enough of this wintery weather? Imagine yourself sitting on a patio on a Greek island by the beach, you hear the local musicians playing Bouzouki in the streets, and serotonin is flowing free. The only thing that makes this moment better is the amazing cocktail in your hand, the *drumroll please* Oreganita, your new fave drink.

Here’s what you will need to bring that joy to your own kitchen:

First, you will need to connect your phone to your nearest bluetooth speaker and play this song:
Ok, you’re ready to get started.

  • 2 sprigs fresh oregano

  • 1.5oz top-shelf ouzo or tequila (go for ouzo if you like licorice, go for tequila if you’re in for something classic)

  • 2 tbsp raw honey, melted.

  • 1/2 lemon, juiced

  • Cocktail shaker

  • Ice

Directions:

  1. Put one scoop of ice in your cocktail shaker and shake up with all ingredients.
  2. Strain into a chilled cocktail glass
  3. Enjoy!

Virgin version:

  • 2 sprigs fresh oregano

  • 1oz ginger juice

  • 4oz sparkling water

  • 2 tbsp raw honey, melted.

  • 1/2 lemon, juiced

  • Cocktail shaker

  • Ice

Directions:

  1. Put one scoop of ice in your shaker, add ginger, oregano leaves, honey, lemon juice. Shake well.
  2. Strain mixture into a cocktail glass.
  3. Top off with sparkling water.
  4. Enjoy!
